This cute little red table was a $5 yard sale find many years ago. She was painted a neutral brown with some stenciling but nobody looked at her, I think they will look now! Painted with the new and oh so cool Rustoleum Chalk Paint in Farmhouse Red, she would a fabulous addition to an entryway. With dividers in the drawer this little table would add some additional organizing. Solid wood and sturdy! $40
My refurbishing process goes something like this, I sand or strip the piece. Though I try to avoid stripping. Once the surface is sanded, we are ready to paint. For color choice I usually have something on hand that I’ve purchased from the Home Depot blooper paint rack ( you can get great paint, CHEAP). After paint, I will apply a light coat of stain, which varies in color depending on the look I want. When the stain has dried, I sand to remove some of the stain and create a worn look. Final step is a sealing coat.
